Always so much research wasted in costuming

One of the major components for me in making cosplay is researching the “best” way for me to make a costume.

For every cosplayer, this can vary. Some want it cheap. Some want to buy as much and make as little as possible. Some want to learn a new technique well. Some want to make it as fast as possible, without sacrificing making the costume recognizable. I’d say I’m a mix of wanting to learn something well, but finding speed shortcuts that don’t sacrifice the costume’s ability to stand the test of usage and time.

So perhaps for now, I’ll start blogging on materials that I find in my research that interest me. But perhaps don’t always end up in a viable tutorial.

And as bonus content, I will also include research I do on professional cosplay opportunities.
